This is completely absurd. If they catch you here in Zurich without your Ticket at hand but you have a monthly or yearly subscription, you can just go to a Service Point and show them your Ticket. I really don’t get it why the Swiss Federal Rail punishes their loyal customers like that. Your example shows, that we still have a long way to go in regards to Digitization in civil services and government agencies. It seems so weird that the richest country in the world is so far behind most other countries in europe here, that doesn’t makes absolutely no sense.
